By now you’ve heard the big announcements, walked around the famous brands and wrote about the fun gadgets your readers love.

Today, you can see what YOU care about (before heading to a Cirque du Soleil show — Zumanity maybe?). Below is some of what I saw that you might enjoy too!

1. ROBOTS & DRONES

SO MUCH CHINA!

From toy drones to companion and service robots, 🇨🇳 China seems to have taken over half the show. It is now a force to be reckoned with — and not just DJI!

2. HEALTH TECH

NOT JUST A GADGET

Have you stopped by the Beauty & Baby Tech room in the Sands? Smart breast pumps, light therapy for skin care or hair regrowth, and even a slick nail art printer.

On the Eureka Park floor, many serious health products are scattered. Head for the French Tech or HAX sections (51248–51253 & 51639–51645) to find more, such as:

  • The AIRE breathalyzer that recognizes food intolerances
  • The Lief smart patch that trains you to fight stress (currently on Kickstarter), such as editorial deadlines ;)
  • The Feel bracelet that tracks emotions. Especially useful to people struggling with depression.

3. SLEEP TECH

DEEP TECH FOR BETTER ZZZ

Sleep tech also has an entire section, and some extra in the startups zone. Among them:

  • Kokoon (from UK) headphones (#51600) protect your sleep
  • Ray IoT (from India) tracks baby’s sleep using non-invasive tech
  • Circadia (from Canada) offers light therapy during the day combined with sleep sensing during the night to adjust your sleep cycles, using NASA-inspired tech.

4. WEIRD GADGETS

YOU’LL NEVER FIND THOSE :)

I went deep into the startup section and found odd gadgets few will see. I’m not giving away the booths numbers as I’ll be writing about those for Forbes :)

Among them:

  • A pet feeder robot on wheels
  • A smart seat that improves blood flow to the uterus
  • All sorts of Alexa & Siri-powered gadgets

5. HAX BOOTHS
DEEP TECH STARTUPS

The latest count of HAX startups at CES is 80(!) companies. This is probably the sleeper hit among CES delegations:

MEET HAX: Eureka Park, Sands Lvl 1 Hall G — Booths 51248–51253 & 51639–51645 (Near the TechCrunch booth)
